Love Island's Kaz Kamwi{
Announcing the news on Instagram, the pair said: 'We are extremely sad to announce that we have decided to end our romantic relationship. We have had a fantastic journey and we will always have a special bond between us.
'We will continue to be very much in one another's lives and support each other in every way. We are so grateful that we have shared this Love Island experience with each other, and we will continue to support each others careers.
'Life since the villa has been amazing, but it’s taking time to adjust to a new normal in the public eye. This part of the journey hasn’t been easy for us but we’re learning. Thank you to every single person who has supported us, we appreciate you more than you will ever know. '
Fans found out during the Love Island reunion episode that Tyler had asked Kaz to be his girlfriend, much to viewers' delight. In interviews since, the pair have spoken about how they were taking their relationship at their own pace, and not moving in together, in comparison to many of the couples from their series - like Millie Court and Liam Reardon, and Faye Winter and Teddy Soares - who are now living together.
Kaz recently wrote an essay for Grazia, explaining why fair representation on - and off - screen is so crucial for primetime TV. 'Fair representation in terms of race, class, disability and gender on all TV and broadcast platforms, in front and behind the camera is so important,' she wrote. 'And this will have such a positive impact within the whole chain from concept to output. Following Love Island, I now have a new platform and it’s my goal to use my voice in a positive way. If I can bring about change for future contestants or those thinking about a TV career, I’d love to do so.'
We wish them both the best.
