Unfortunately, not all Love Island relationships are built to stand the test of time. But, with some couples, there seems to be a pattern in which they decide to part ways six months after leaving the show - and, over the years, it's led many fans to believe there's some kind of six month curse{
Need some names? Well, everyone from Olivia Attwood and Chris Hughes to Megan Barton Hanson and Wes Nelson and Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard announced they'd parted ways after around six to seven months together. And now, there's another couple to add to the list: Connor Durman and Sophie Piper, from this year's winter version, who have just broken up.
(If you need a reminder: Connor was the one who was a coffee bean salesman, who spoke about getting his teeth done in Turkey, and Sophie is the half-sister of The Saturdays' Rochelle Humes{
Apparently, the pair called it quits as they just couldn't make it work during lockdown, which is completely understandable. However, they did never officially become boyfriend and girlfriend, which leads us to think that maybe they were never destined for each other after all. Connor had previously said the couple were due to move in together, but then their plans were halted by the pandemic. A source told The Sun that it had simply 'fizzled out' - in fact, they haven't even been seen together since February.
Oh well, at leastMolly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury{
