Caroline Flack Returns From LA As Love Island Producers Say They ‘Want Her Back’

While Laura Whitmore has replaced her for the current series.

Caroline Flack has been spotted in London after travelling to LA following the drama surrounding her alleged assault on her boyfriend Lewis Burton.

The TV presenter, who was arrested in December for assault, allegedly flew across the pond to escape the press and has reportedly since told friends she's cutting out alcohol.

And Love Island bosses are apparently keen to have her return to the dating show, which she has hosted since its return in 2015.

A source told The Sun, Caroline has been told Love Island want her back for the next series.'

'Laura has done a great job so far but the show’s bosses don’t feel she has the same pull.'

'Caroline has also had interest from other networks, including Channel 4. However, she knows she has to get through the court case first.'

Since the incident with Lewis, Caroline has moved into a different house in London, with a source telling the publication, 'Caroline has not touched alcohol since before Christmas and has been getting to the gym every day.'

'She is in much better shape both physically and mentally.'

'The LA sunshine was good for her and she adopted the Californian healthy lifestyle, which she is keeping up back in London.'

Lewis has backed Caroline since the alleged incident took place. He's taken to Instagram to declare his love for her, and called her 'harmless.''

She denies assault and is set for trial on March 4.
