If you haven't already watched the show, and honestly what have you been doing if you haven't, then let us explain: the premise is basically The Circle crossed with Married at First Sight. The 30 contestants – half male, half female – date in ‘booths’ without being able to see one another. Then they can choose if they want to get engaged. But only after a proposal is accepted will they get to meet face to face. The rest of the series then leads up to their wedding, and whether they said 'I do' at the altar.

Amber Pike and Matt Barnetthad an immediate physical connection on the show, but Amber's student loan and credit card debt threw doubt on their relationship. I mean, who doesn't overspend on MAC lipstick sometimes, right? Barnett's family appeared less than impressed when they met Amber, and Barnett later revealed that he might not be able to go through with the wedding if his family didn't approve.

Despite financial and family pressures, Amber and Barnett went through with the wedding. Amber has since posted a load of adorable pictures on Instagram from back when they had to keep their relationship private, captioning them: #secretyearoffun.

Kelly Chase and Kenny Barnes not only won the hearts of viewers with their cute name combo, but with their visible chemistry. Both Kelly and Kenny's parents met and married within a few months and are still together, perhaps quick engagements run in the family? Although it's unlikely they met in fancy pods on a reality TV show, probs.

Kelly and Kenny didn't get married - and they didn't stay together. But there's no bad blood between the pair. Last August, Kenny announced he was engaged to someone new - and Kelly was quick to comment: '"OH MY GOSHH YAYYY! That's so exciting!!! I'm so excited for you two!! Oh, well. This was not going to last. And it got messy. After the show, Mark was linked with fellow cast member Lauren "LC" Chamblin - but that ended hastily after he was accused of cheating. Jessica announced she had a new boyf on July 4 - and two days later Mark announced he also had a new partner in Aubrey Rainey. Mark and Aubrey announced they were expecting a child in October.

Giannina Gibelli and Damian Powers' relationship was a fiery one. At any one moment this couple could be having a screaming match in a room full of friends or leaping into each other's arms. We've seen Giannina struggle with Damian's inability to open up, and Damian's family refuse to meet Giannina before the wedding.

One of our favourite moments from the whole series was Giannina running from her wedding, as Damian said 'I don't'. But, by some of form of miracle, they only split for a few hours. And they still look like they're together now.

Fans screech "PROTECT LAUREN AND CAMERON AT ALL COSTS" across social media and tbh, we can understand why. Despite a few difficulties over Lauren's sense of independence and a tricky chat with her Dad, the pair haven't had eyes for anyone else since meeting in the pods. If any couple will stand the test of time, it's these two.
