Even though we really don’t want to be, we are utterly obsessed with Netflix{ =nofollow}’s Love Is Blind - potentially the wildest reality TV show we have ever seen. For those who haven’t watched it yet - please do! - the entire concept of the show is that couples decide to get married without actually having seen each other. It’s truly bonkers. Like Love Island, but on steroids, with American accents, and twenty times more chaotic energy.

But, before the big season finale on Thursday, some bombshell news has been delivered: there were actually another two couples who got engaged on the show, only to be cut in post-production. WHAT?!

‘We had actually more success on this show than we were even able to document,' Love Is Blind creator and producer Chris Coelen revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. ‘As a producer I was kind of nervous like, is anybody actually gonna get engaged? Is anyone going to make it to the altar? And, in the end, we actually had more couples get engaged than we were able to follow on the show.’

So, can you imagine going through the process of being on this hell-ish show, meeting who you think is the love of your life, only for your burgeoning romance never to see the light of day? Honestly, what is the point!

The spurned couples, for those who care, were Rory Newbrough and Danielle Drouin, along with Lexie Skipper and Westley Baer. Rory ended up proposing to Danielle, but he only appeared in a few shots at the beginning of the series. And the couple broke up shortly after leaving the pods, which is likely why they didn’t end up in Mexico with the rest of the gang. Westley and Lexie’s engagement wasn’t shown - and sadly they have since reportedly split.

Please, give these couples the spin-off show they deserve.
