Just a few months ago, celebrities were reminding us to stay indoors and #wearadamnmask - but now that's all flown out the window as, even during the pandemic, celebs are getting bored of a life without A-list parties. Case in point last night, when Hailey and Justin Bieber decided to throw a massive party for their friend singer Justine Skye. Obviously, the guestlist was glittering - including the likes of Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Winnie Harlow. And both Bieber and Skye has shared cute photo booth snaps from the party. (Pretty hard to social distance in a photo booth, right?)
Sure, this would be a super fun party - if coronavirus wasn't particularly bad in California, which has recently become the first US state to pass 600,000 Covid-19 cases. In March, Californian mayor Eric Garcetti banned all ‘public and private gatherings of any size that would occur outside of a single home’. Not only that, but Garcetti has become so concerned by the parties that authorities will be able to shut off utility supplies to properties where large gatherings are held. Yikes.
This isn't the first time Kylie has broken lockdown either, after telling her 192million Instagram followers to stay inside. In April, she was spotted on her way to visit her best friend Anastasia "Stassie" Karanikolaou's house - and earlier this month it appeared Kendall and Kylie ignored the state's advice against travel to visit Turks and Caicos to celebrate Kylie’s 23rd birthday. According to state rulings: ‘You can travel for urgent matters or if such travel is essential to your permitted work. Even though businesses around the state are opening up, avoid traveling long distances for vacations or pleasure as much as possible. This is to slow the spread of the coronavirus.’
