Lily James has become something of a fixture on our screens in recent years. After rising to fame via Downton Abbey and Disney's Cinderella, in the last year we've loved her in Netflix's Rebecca and The Dig. She's taking the lead in BBC One's The Pursuit Of Love, and now she's in the US to shoot a Hulu series about the iconic Pamela Anderson. It's while there that she was spotted with Michael Shuman, a musician, confirming that the pair are very much together.
In February, Lily was photographed leaving a Suffolk hotel, where she was staying while filming What's Love Got To Do With It? She was with Michael, bassist for Queens of the Stone Age, meaning that they've now been dating for at least three months.
Last year, Lily James was linked to The Affair actor Dominic West after the pair were pictured in Italy, sharing a scooter and enjoying a very cosy al fresco lunch. Lily and Dominic were co-starring in an adaptation of beloved novel The Pursuit of Love, but speculation mounted about their relationship when it was noticed that Dominic wasn't wearing his wedding ring. The trailer has also landed recently, which explains a sudden resurgence in interest surrounding the story, and naturally the fact that they appear together on screen on Sunday nights has a lot of people wondering what went on. Lily has addressed the furore, briefly, telling The Observer that, while there's a lot to say, 'not now.'
Since the incident, Dominic - and his wife Catherine FitzGerald - have insisted that their marriage is 'strong' and that they are 'very much still together'.
All that drama followed Lily's break up with Matt Smith earlier that summer. The pair had been together for several years - but in May, reports stated that Lily and Matt were giving their five-year relationship another try over lockdown. But, sadly, this didn't appear to work. The pair originally split following rumours Matt had grown close to The Crown co-star Claire Foy.
