Lily James is about to add another career to her CV: being a popstar. Yep, the superstar actress' talents apparently don't just lie with acting, she's also planning to release a single later this year. (Seriously, when some people are this talented - it doesn't really give much hope to the rest of us who can't act or sing.)
So, more details about her impending music career... According to The Sun, Lily is collaborating with DJ Yoda, for a track which is going to be released around the time Glastonbury is hosting its one day festival in September. As festival fans will know, last week Glasto was given the go ahead to hold a one day 50,000-capacity event, called Equinox, at Worthy Farm. (And there won't be any overnight camping.)
Naturally, it's no surprise that she can sing. Lily played a young Meryl Streep in Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again.
'Lily and DJ Yoda recorded Send Her in North London. It’s got a really chilled-out vibe which was the polar opposite of how Lily was feeling,' a source told the paper. They added, 'Lily is a really talented singer and excited about getting the song out there. The plan is to hold off until the end of summer and to try to coincide with Glasto.'
Lily has got quite a busy schedule coming up. She's just appeared in BBC drama The Pursuit Of Love - yes, co-starring alongside Dominic West, a drama coming to Hulu about Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's whirlwind marriage, which is set to cover their sex tape being stolen and released.
The internet has been completely transfixed with Lily's transformation into the Baywatch actressl, but some aren't as impressed, with the model's close friend Courtney Love slamming Lily for starring in the series. 'My heart goes out to Pammy further causing her complex trauma,' Courtney said in a now-deleted Facebook post. 'And shame on Lily James whoever the f*** she is.'
