Laura Whitmore Talks Her Holiday Must-Haves

This summer, we're all trying to get away. For some of us, that means flying off to another country, perhaps doing the tests and quarantine periods that travel to many places requires at the moment. For others, it's about finding a cottage or AirBnB somewhere a little closer to home. And for others, it might just be a matter of putting a paddling pool on the patio and pretending we're on a Greek island. But whatever the approach, you're going to need for supplies. Enter Laura Whitmore, who's maybe the perfect person to turn to at the moment.

Laura, the presenter of the cultural sensation that Love Island has become, is going to be back and forth to Mallorca in the coming weeks, as she will be flying there for work purposes: hosting segments for the reality dating show. She kicked off proceedings last week by sharing an image on Instagram of herself and her family - including her young daughter and her mum - about to board a plane. But before she checked in, she did some shopping with Boots, the beloved high street chain who has just recruited her as an ambassador. Boots UK is hoping that the help of one of the country's favourite TV stars will empower others to feel good about themselves and be prepared to head out into the sun this summer after so long inside. 'So my mum, when we used to go on holiday, she used to pack everything,' says Laura. 'She used to bring her own loo roll, because God forbid they don't sell loo roll in Spain. So she used to pack everything.

I'm a bit like my mother's daughter, so I pack all the stuff that you don't need and then I'll get there and I won't have my toothbrush.'
