Anyway, even Kim K regrets ever getting the contentious treatment done. In a blog post last year, she said she’d never do the treatment again, calling it ‘rough’ and ‘painful’, also adding that she couldn’t use numbing cream or a pain killer as she had just discovered she was pregnant.
However, Kim is now suing - as she is claiming Dr Runels has continued to use her name and likeness to promote the procedure.
The complaint, filed by Kardashian West's attorneys, reads: ‘While 'the Kardashians'—or, more accurately, Ms. Kardashian and her sister Kourtney—did 'get' a Vampire Facial, it was seven years ago. And they had certainly never licensed their name in connection with the procedure.’ The lawsuit even says that she asked him to stop, to which he asked her to pay him to stop using her face.

Last September, it was reported by the New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) that "vampire facials" at VIP Spa in Albuquerque may have exposed patients to HIV and hepatitis B and C.
