Kim Kardashian has returned to Instagram after a three month hiatus, breaking her social media silence with a candid family photo.
The slightly off-focus picture shows Kim, husband Kanye and children North, 3, and Saint, 1, dressed in matching black and white casual ensembles, is captioned simply 'family', and marks three months since Kim was robbed at gunpoint in a Paris hotel during Fashion Week.
Following the harrowing incident, Kim, previously prolific in her social media use, chose to take a complete break from Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat, with fans relying upon her website and her family's profiles for updates. After yesterday's Instagram post, she's since started interacting with fans on Twitter, replying to one message with 'I missed you guys!'
Several hours before, Kim released a family video on her website and app, giving a more personal insight into the Kardashian West household, a departure from the more heavily filtered Instagram posts and Keeping Up With The Kardashians scenes that her followers have become used to. A montage of clips recorded over the past few months, it shows Kim and family backstage at Kanye's Yeezy show, Kim and Kanye playing with their children and Kim wearing tracksuit bottoms (with sky-high heels, obviously).
Eagle-eyed fans also noted that for a few moments, the star's name changed from Kim Kardashian West to just 'Kim' on her social media profiles (though her handles remained the same). What could it all mean?
