After fighting against celebrity weight-loss adverts, Jameela Jamil has claimed that she doesn’t hate the Kardashians, saying she will ‘get off [their] dick’ when they ‘stop selling laxatives’. In a new interview, Jamil – who regularly calls out the family on social media for advertising weight-loss products – has said she isn’t ‘trying to attack anyone'.
'I don’t hate those girls,’ The Good Place actress candidly said, speaking to Glamour{
In March, Jamil hit back at the family after the sisters responded to her criticisms in a New York Times interview. In a post on her Instagram account, the body-positive actor/activist wrote, 'The Kardashians need to check their moral compasses, because they appear to be broken.' Her post came after Khloé said she had never had a chef, while Kim spoke about the financial incentive of Instagram adverts.
Earlier, Jamil - who is one of Grazia’s 10 Women Who Changed The Conversation - wrote on one of Khloé’s selfies advertising a weight loss product. 'If you're too irresponsible to: a) own up to the fact that you have a personal trainer, nutritionist, probable chef, and a surgeon to achieve your aesthetic rather than this laxative product… And b) tell them the side effects of this NON-FDA approved product, that most doctors are saying aren't healthy. Possible Flat Tummy Tea side effects are cramping, stomach pains, diarrhea and dehydration... then I guess I have to.' She also asked Khloé to 'be smarter than this' and to 'not hurt other girls the way you have been hurt'.
