LA is in lockdown but that hasn't stopped filming for Keeping Up With The Kardashians - and now it's come to light that the Kardashian/Jenner family receive a new iPhone EVERY WEEK. While most shows have paused filming - due to Covid-19 and camera crews having to social distance - Kris Jenner made sure that the show would go on and ensured her daughters could continue to show their lives from the comfort of their own home.
Last month, Kim posted a detailed video on her Instagram Story on how they're filming their iconic 'confessional' scenes around the house. And now it's come to light that the reality stars are all filming on iPhones - sorry, but how 2020? - and after 16 hours of footage have replacement phones delivered to their houses every week.
KUWTK executive producer Farnaz Farjam explained that when lockdown first commenced they got a photographer and a technician to go into their houses in hazmat suits to set up tripods (for their phones) and light rooms for confessionals.
Because there's no camera crew following Kris, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner around, it's changed the dynamic of the show a little...
'If Kris gets annoyed and walks out of the camera angle, it's not like we can follow her and continue shooting. She has to come back onto the screen and explain [why she walked away],' she explained to Elle.
She went on to add, 'It's less fly-on-the-wall, because we have to give them direction and they have to be more informative with us… But because this is the Kardashians and they're entertaining regardless, it will be a fun watch for people.'
In more Kardashian related news during a recent episode Khloe announced she could potentially be having baby number two with baby daddy Tristan Thompson. She left her sisters Kourt and Kendall stunned after she confessed he's her 'sperm donor' since then lots of fans have been speculating if she's pregnant with another child.
However Khloe slammed all the reports as 'disgusting', taking to Twitter she wrote, '...I am disgusted by so many things I am seeing. SMH people swear they know everything about me. Including my uterus. Sick. The nasty things you’re saying about me over A RUMOUR! I have seen so many hurtful/despicable stories and tweets about me over a false story. And if it were true.... it’s MY LIFE, NOT YOURS. Funny how picky & choosy some can be with who and how you feel others should live their lives.'
