You better see it to believe it, but Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson totally, one hundred percent, confirmed their romance by kissing each other wildly at a New York Rangers game on Sunday - where there was obviously a load of photographers capturing their every move. Rumours have been swirling that the pair have been an item since the Golden Globes in January – but it’s clear the couple want to end tabloid speculation and announce their new relationship status themselves. (It’s certainly a more dramatic way to announce the news than simply making it Instagram official, like when Pete and his ex Ariana Grande posted their first snap together dressed in Harry Potter outfits.)
But the best part of their date? Antoni Porowski from Queer Eye was third-wheeling, as he was sat right next to Kate to witness the spectacle. But with his hand over his mouth and a worried expression, it looks like he was trying to focus on the game and avoid them locking lips.
Pete's former neck tattoo tribute to Ari, which he transformed into a heart from the Dangerous Woman bunny, was also visible - and it looks like he’s more than ready to move on, after they split in October following their short engagement (incidentally, it also looks like Ariana is truly sticking to her thank u, next mantra as she told TMZ last month that Pete and Kate were simply: “So cute!") Pete is five years older than Kate's daughter Lily Mo, from her eight-year relationship with Michael Sheen. The Underworld star then married director Len Wiseman in 2004, who she met on the set of the film, however the couple divorced in 2016.
The super-couple have been busy this weekend, as they also went to a Saturday Night Live after party, where they were snapped looking close. And tellingly enough, the British actress revealed on a red carpet last week that she finds humour very attractive – which is, you know, convenient as Davidson is a comedian. When asked how she’d describe her perfect guy by Extra, she said: “Funny. I like funny.” (The Sunrevealed last year that she had been linked to fellow funnyman Jack Whitehall too, after they were pictured kissing at a karaoke bar.) Last month, Pete and Kate were also seen holding hands as they left one of the SNL star's stand-up gigs.
Well, one thing's for sure, Pete and Kate have certainly taken the America tradition of kiss cam to a whole new level. Maybe they’ll do a cameo on Queer Eye next.
