Nobody is immune to Justin Trudeau’s charm. Not Ivanka Trump, not the Queen, and definitely not the unsuspecting newlyweds that met him on their wedding day.
Trudeau had reportedly been kayaking in the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve near Victoria when he spotted the newlyweds and decided to paddle over to them in his kayak. His personal photographer Adam Scotti was on hand to get some snaps of Trudeau shaking the hand of the groom and kissing the bride, and posted the happy photos on his Twitter account.
The Prime Minister may be friendly, but he is perhaps lacking poise, as shortly after meeting the couple he fell out of his kayak.
The bride later spoke to CTV News about the occasion: ‘He said, “I’m not going to take my shirt off this time”', referencing the time last year when he photobombed a wedding photo whilst topless.
He also made an unscheduled appearance at a school prom in Vancouver earlier this year. He was out jogging along the Stanley Parl Seawall when he passed a group of students who were dressed to the nines. Obviously, he became the main attraction, and Adam Scotti caught the whole thing on camera.
