It appears that you're not alone in your endless re-watching of vintage episodes of Friends: even Rachel Green herself, Jennifer Aniston, can't tear herself away from the screen.
Appearing on The One Show to promote her new festive comedy, Office Christmas Party, Jennifer was (naturally) asked if she ever re-watches the show that kick-started her stellar career. Her answer? A resounding yes - and just like you, she 'can't help it,' such is the irresistible power of the Central Perk gang.
'First, I'm trying to remember which episode it is, and half the time I'm saying to myself, "I don't remember that,"'she explained. 'You get sucked into the nostalgia of it.' Us too, Jennifer. Us too.
With Friends having run for 10 seasons over 10 years, it's perhaps unsurprising that Jennifer looks fondly upon the show (it's probably her equivalent of flicking, misty-eyed, through university Facebook albums). What is surprising, though, is her revelation that the entire principal cast disliked the iconic theme song ('I'll Be There For You' by The Rembrandts,' as if you needed reminding).
'No one was really a big fan of that theme song,' she revealed to host Alex James, before clarifying her position. 'I don't mean to say that,' she added. 'We felt it was a little, I don't know. Dancing in a fountain felt sort of odd but we did it.'
So that's why the cast look less than thrilled at various points in the opening credits...
