The Emmys might have been virtual this year - but at least some of the nominees were able to be surrounded by their friends and family. Case in point Jennifer Aniston, who invited Friends co-stars Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox over to share in her excitement as she was nominated for her role as news anchor Alex Levy in The Morning Show.
Jen had attended the actual ceremony to help present, but she then rushed home before her nomination. And when her category was announced, much to the delight of fans, Jennifer (Rachel) was seen on screen with her longtime pals Lisa and Courteney (aka Phoebe and Monica). The actress joked they have been living together since the 1990s, telling host Jimmy Kimmel: 'We’ve been roommates since 1994, Jimmy.' 'Of course I’m here, we live together,' Courteney added. 'Where else would I live?' Lisa asked as she appeared in the frame.
The Friends trio were then joined by Jason Bateman, who had previously filmed a sketch where he was kicked out of the virtual ceremony in Los Angeles. 'Oh, look who it is, the host with the most, rudeness,' Jason told Jimmy. 'You call to kick me out of my own house, too, freak?' Jen then joked that Jason is living with them too, but 'just until he goes off to college'.
Earlier in the evening, Jen kicked off proceedings by posting a glam shot of her sitting cross legged in loungewear (Pour Les Femmes pyjamas to be exact, shop the brand here{
In the end, Jen missed out on her award to Zendaya, but with good friends around her, we're sure she didn't mind too much.
