Tommy Fury’s unlikely rival Jake Paul, a YouTuber and former Disney star who's earned a reputation for using the partners of professional boxersto bait them into fighting him, has come under fire for seemingly breaking the news that Tommy’s girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague has given birth.

While the 2019 Love Island runner ups have yet to make any baby announcement, Jake Paul, who was due to compete in a boxing match again Tommy last year before the fight was repeatedly postponed, claimed the ‘baby’s been born’ on one of his trademark social media rants.

‘Tommy has no excuses now…baby’s born,’ he wrote. ‘Money’s massive. Immigration no issue. Tyson promises he & Papa will make Tommy retire from boxing & change his last name if he can’t beat the YouTuber.

‘Tmw I’m coming to London to look at all 3 Fury’s in the eye & shake on that promise.’

But his post has NOT gone down well with Tommy and Molly fans, who’ve (quite rightly) branded him disrespectful for making the claim.

‘Not Jake Paul announcing Molly Mae’s baby being born!! Absolutely vile!!’ said one outraged commenter, with another writing, ‘I think it’s disrespectful for Jake to release the baby news. Both Tommy and Molly had kept quiet. It might be some reason. It should be them who should release the news to world.’

To be fair, Jake – who once faked a screenshot from Molly-Mae insinuating she was romantically interested in him – is unlikely to be high up on Tommy’s list of who to share the happy news with when their daughter does eventually make her debut.

Speaking last month about how she’s been coping with Tommy’s busy boxing schedule during her pregnancy, Molly said, ‘He’s very different to what people actually see, like when he’s in public and when he’s at a fight.

‘Tommy at home is very different - just a completely different person. Obviously you’ve got to switch it on and off and you can’t be like this all the time. It’s too much, it’s too much for me. It’s intense isn’t it, the whole thing.'
