Jada Pinkett Smith has denied allegations from singer and family friend August Alsina that the two carried out an affair with the blessing of her husband, Will Smith. Last night, reps for the actress called the claims - made by Alsina in an interview with Complex - 'absolutely not true'. Additionally, Will's representatives have told The Sun that the accusations are 'wrong'.

Previously, the singer had denied an affair with Jada, after singing the lyrics 'You got me feeling like it was an act, you’re just an actress / Putting on a show ’cause you don’t want the world to know' on his 2019 track Nunya.

‘I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation,’ August told The Breakfast Club host Angela Yee. ‘Due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership that they’ve spoken on several times, and it not involving romanticism, he gave me his blessing. I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really deeply loved and have a ton of love for her.’

‘I devoted myself to it,' he added. 'I gave my full self to it. So much so to the point that I can die right now and be OK with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody.' He continued, 'I really loved the person that I experienced that and know what that feels like, and some people never get that in this lifetime.'

'I love those people literally like my family. I don't have a bad thing to say about them,' he added. August claims that he fell in love with Jada after they met at Jaden and Willow Smith’s London concert in 2015. The singer then became friends with the family, even joining them on a trip to Hawaii the following year. He appeared on Jada's Facebook show Red Table Talk in 2018 and explained how Jada helped him overcome his struggle with addiction.

Will and Jada have been honest about some of the marriage struggles they've faced in the past, with Jada previously saying on her Facebook talk show that they’ve outgrown the term ‘married’ and instead use the term ‘redefining the marriage as a life partnership’.
