Three months after leaving the villa, it’s being reported that one of our favourite Love Island couples, Ovie and India, are on the rocks. The pair, who struck up a romance just weeks before the series ended, finished third in the competition.
A source told the MailOnline, 'It's clear things aren't exactly rosy between them. They need time to meet up and work things out.' The Mail is reporting that the pair’s busy work lives are making it difficult for them to see each other, with the couple last being seen together at the TV Choice Awards in September.
A second source told the site, ’They have been trying to get together all week, but their busy work schedules haven't permitted it.’ Grazia Daily has contacted India and Ovie's representatives for comment.
Ovie and India are one of the last remaining couples of this year's series – winners Amber and Greg split last month, after he dumped her by text. (Amber recently said that Greg still hasn’t apologised for the way he broke up with her.{
Speaking about the split, the star said, ‘It's been and gone now. I've forgotten about it and moved on. An apology would have been nice at the time, but I didn't get one. It's fine, it doesn't matter. I don't think I'll ever get one. I won't hold out for that.’
In other Love Island news, Maura Higgins recently revealed Love Island producers tried to get her dump her boyfriend to appear on last year's series.
Speaking at Girls With Goals on Her.ie, she said: ‘I remember last year when they called me up and I was with my ex – we had been together about six months and I said, “no I’m in a relationship.” They were like, “how long have you been with that guy,” and I said, “six months,” and they were like, “well you don’t really know that that’s going to last,” and they said to me, “if anything happens closer to the show, let us know and we’ll get you in there.”'
