Another day, another wave of negativity towards Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, a couple who can often seem to do nothing right. So, what have they done that's so outrageous this time? Well, they've apparently asked whether they can fly back to the UK, with their four-month old daughter, Lilibet, to meet the Queen, according to The Sun{ =nofollow}.

Apparently, Her Majesty is happy to meet Lilibet - who, of course, is named after the Queen - but palace aides aren't too pleased, according to the reports. It would be the first time Meghan is back in the UK, after last year's Megxit and moving permanently to California. 'The Queen is still very fond of Harry, and would love to see Lilibet and her brother Archie,' a source told the paper. 'But courtiers are surprised by the move, especially from Meghan, after what has happened.'

This is, of course, because of the couple's interview with Oprah Winfrey, which created shockwaves around the world. Some of the things said in the interview include Meghan saying there were 'concerns' over colour of Archie's skin in royal family, and Harry saying that his father, Prince Charles{ =nofollow}, stopped answering his calls.

Harry's memoir is also set to come out next year, which according to experts - such as Katie Nicholl - is causing concern that it could overshadow the Queen's Platinum Jubilee next year. ‘I think there’s a growing frustration - bordering on anger - that he's doing it,’ Katie told Grazia recently. ‘He promised his grandmother that he wouldn't do anything that was disrespectful to the Firm and that he wouldn't cash in on his connections with the royal family.’

But regardless of Oprah, and the upcoming book, when it seems like the Queen is happy to meet Lilibet - why is this being turned into a drama? It seems like the couple can't win. If they decided not to introduce Lilibet to the Queen, there would be uproar; they'd be branded entitled, selfish, mean.

And now there's a suggestion that they - understandably - want the Queen to meet their granddaughter, there's yet more negativity, with angry comments on social media even accusing the couple of pulling a publicity stunt, and trying to look like they're back in the royals' good books again. Regardless of family politics, and your personal opinion, they're still a family. Why shouldn't Lilibet be able to meet her grandmother? It would be incredibly cruel to deny that.
