Brooklyn Beckham And Hana Cross Kiss And Make Up At Old Trafford After Being ‘Separated by Security’ In Cannes

Budding couple of six months Hana Cross and Brooklyn Beckham were at it (and by it, I mean arguing) again in Cannes last week. Their latest bust up looks to have come to a head over lunch and champagne. Cross is reported to have confronted Beckham before turning away from him and into the millennial default refuge (her phone). A source close to the model, 22, told The Sun that ‘Hana struggles with Brooklyn’s fame and money, and all that comes with dating a Beckham. Brooklyn gets jealous easily, and didn’t enjoy all the male attention she was getting.’ Sounds like the perfect storm – and things escalated quickly, with all the standard screaming and crying that characterise young, drunk, ill-advised romance. Security stepped in; meal, presumably, ruined.

This isn’t the first time Hana and Brooklyn have struggled through a teary public argument. Seen fighting at Coachella in April, last month saw a joint LA shopping trip with Brooklyn’s brothers Romeo and Cruz descend into another weepy palaver. Romeo, 16, is reported to have intervened to console Hana – though the friction between the couple seems to have continued into that evening, after Hana was spotted in tears outside Madeo restaurant in Beverly Hills. Only a few weeks later, and again in LA, Beckham and Cross were pictured looking miserable in a car – and Brooklyn’s parents are said to be ‘seriously frustrated’ by their son’s increasingly ‘toxic relationship’. Rumour has it that Victoria and David Beckham have asked Brooklyn to have Hana sign an NDA – standard practice in celeb-land for close associates of the famous family, but apparently not an idea to which Brooklyn has taken kindly. A source told The Sun, ‘The Beckhams make nearly all employees and associates sign NDAs and they’ve asked that Hana sign one. But loyal Brooklyn refuses, and thinks it’s insulting.’

While that delicate conversation rumbles on, trouble in paradise looks to have blown over for now. Hana and Brooklyn were conspicuously loved up on Sunday, pictured with his arm around her shoulder and both leaning in close on a Beckham family trip to Old Trafford. Only just emerging from teenage-hood, Brooklyn’s entitled to as much torrid romance as he likes – it’s tough being 20, and sometimes the only way to learn is the hard way. Practice makes perfect, and this weekend looks like a good start: be kind to each other, you crazy kids!
