Geri Halliwell was a member of one of the most famous pop groups in the world - but it turns out the Spice Girls singer has another ambition on her list. Becoming a YouTuber.

The Sunare reporting that the star is planning to launch a channel to give advice on wellbeing, cooking and parenthood, which, as they noted, sounds very Gwyneth Paltrow/Goop.

A source told the paper, ‘Geri has a decent following on social media and loves making videos on Instagram so wants to build on that with her own YouTube channel. She got the idea after seeing the success of Gwyneth{ =nofollow}, who’s become an icon in her own right. She will film the videos at her country house in Oxfordshire, where she has previously shot similar segments for ITV’s This Morning.’

Hopefully the channel does better thanVictoria Beckham's, which she recently had to quit, after it was revealed that the channel only brought in £25 a day.

As reported last week{ =nofollow}, a secret memo revealed that Geri could have been ditched from the group in their early days.

In the memo, which has was unearthed by Sean Smith in his new book Spice Girls, it was revealed that the band’s first manager Bob Herbert even had a replacement lined up for Geri, because he feared she would turn Victoria, Mel B, Mel C and Emma against management.

According to The Sun, he said, ‘We included Geri because she had a very strong personality and her looks seemed to suit the image we were trying to project.’ He added, ‘Unfortunately she was tone deaf and had awful timing, which meant she was unable to sing in tune or dance in time.'

Charming.
