In news unlikely to shock anyone, Love Island’s Georgia Harrison has had to block a "Premier League footballer" on Instagram - because he wouldn’t stop harassing her and sending her nude photos. Oh, and did we mention? He’s married. A source exclusively told OK! online, ‘Georgia has been asked out on loads of dates by a Premier League footballer, who is married. She thinks it's disgusting and she’s blocked him, after he sent some really naughty pictures of himself.’ ‘He's in a top eight team and he's an international footballer. He's huge - but very publicly married,' another insider told The Sun Online, who later followed up on the story.

And at the end of last year, Bebe Rexha also very publicly called out a married footballer who wouldn’t leave her alone either. ‘You’re married and have three kids. Be a good role model and play your sports and leave me the fuck alone,’ she raged on her Instagram stories, choosing not to directly reveal the man in question. ‘Don’t be texting me, "hey friend" especially if you’re a married man. Sorry. That shit don’t fly with me. Go back to playing football. If only you guys knew.’ (The popstar takes no prisoners, and we absolutely love her for it.)

So, what’s new? Nothing unfortunately. We all know that unsolicited dick pics are not a problem which solely affects to famous women being harrassed by married footballers via DM. Because it happens to a load of us. Which is baffling, considering I cannot think of a single woman I know who wants to be bombarded with unsolicited nude photos. So, just - like - don’t? Whether you’re married or not, we do not want photos of your dick flashing up on our phone while we’re at work, thank you very much.

A lot of us are also not interested in wrecking a marriage, either. Discussing this story with friends at work this morning, we were all quick to share our own stories of men who have repeatedly contacted us - ignoring the fact that we’ve made it blatantly obvious to them that we’re a) uncomfortable and b) very much not cool with it. Sadly, we also all had stories to share of men cheating on their wives with us, when we literally had no idea they were married. (Safe to say drunkenly snogging someone at a gig, only to have his wife storm up to both of us isn't one of my fondest memories.)

Famous footballer or otherwise, cheating men - we’re on to you. And we’d very much prefer it if you didn’t light up our DMs!
