She may be pregnant with twins, but Amal Clooney is not slowing down her amazing work as a human rights lawyer. She has worked on everything from the Israel-Gaza conflict to the recognition of the Armenian Genocide, and she recently addressed the United Nations to urge world leaders to stop letting Isis ‘get away with murder'. Therefore, it is no surprise that she is a very prepared mother-to-be, and according to her husband George Clooney, she hardly needs his help.
Speaking to Extra at CinemaCon to promote his new film Suburbicon, the 55-year-old actor revealed that Amal is so organised that there isn't much he can do to help. 'She is doing really great,' he gushed. 'She is amazing. I don't have anything to do. There is nothing I can do to help, but make tea and stuff.'
The couple are due to have twins this summer, and George explained how he has prepared for fatherhood. 'I know swaddling, I know what I'm in for,' he said. He also joked that diapers will be an important part of life 'for me not for the kids,' in a nod to his age.
So, what about names for the twins? 'My wife says I can't name them Casa and Amigos,' he joked, referring to his tequila brand. 'That's the one thing I'm not allowed to do.'
Amal, 39, recently spoke out about how her high-profile marriage to a Hollywood A-lister has affected her career in a positive way, as she is able to shine a light on important causes.
