While George and Amal Clooney's twins Ella and Alexander will share a birthday (June 6th, to be precise), one of them will still hold bragging rights for being the eldest sibling - by just a matter of minutes.
ET report that they have obtained a birth certificate for the twins, which reveals that Alexander is the senior of the two, born two minutes before his sister Ella. While Alexander arrived at 12.54pm, Ella was born (very) shortly after at 12.56pm.
The twins were reportedly delivered in the same birthing suite as Prince George and Princess Charlotte, in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London.
To announce the happy news, a representative for the couple released a statement to Page Six, confirming that 'this morning Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine.'
'George is sedated and should recover in a few days.'
The couple have since headed off to Italy with the twins, and were photographed in Milan leaving their private jet. It's thought that the family will head to George's estate in Lake Como for their summer vacation.
Now we'll go back to awaiting a similar update from the Carter-Knowles twins, reportedly named Rumi and Sir. Where's that big Instagram reveal, Beyoncé?
