Gemma Collins revealed that Leonardo DiCapriohad her ‘thrown out’ of a luxury private members club in the US after she attempted to speak to him.
The Only Way Is Essex star explained the awkward encounter with the Oscar winner to The Sun, claiming she can ‘never go back’ to the Los Angeles private members club again. It was reported that she attempted to introduce herself to the film star but got snubbed before she could even say more than a few words.
Gemma Collins told the publication, ‘Leonardo DiCaprio– I said "hello" to him and got thrown out of the club.’ I mean, he looked at me and I looked at him back and all I said was "hello". Next thing I know, I’ve been thrown out.’ She continued, 'I thought, ‘you do realise I am famous as well. Thank you very much!’
Collins admitted that she was pretty mortified by the moment, adding, 'I could never go back there again.' Despite the awkward encounter, Gemma relays that she didn't do anything wrong by greeting superstar. ‘It was just one of those moments. Well, they can kiss my arse,’ the British reality TV star added.
The private members club is reported be Soho House West Hollywood, located on Sunset Boulevard. The club is 'for creative thinkers to meet, eat, drink and relax.' Soho House has a reputation for being very exclusive and entry isn't a luxury everyone is granted - evenKim Kardashianwas denied membership back in 2015.
