Supermodel Elle Macpherson, aka 'The Body', has reportedly separated from her husband, billionaire Jeff Soffer.
'Elle and Jeff are definitely over,' a source told New York Post Page Six exclusively.
'She has left their house at Indian Creek in Miami with her kids, and is looking for her own house in Miami. He has been linked to some other women, but insists they are just friends.'
The couple first started dating in 2009, but ended their relationship after three years in March 2012.
Following a horrific helicopter crash later that year – in which real estate developer Jeff lost his best friend Lance Valdez, and suffered from a vertebrae injury himself – the couple reconciled and were engaged by March the following year.
They eloped to Fiji in July (2013) and married in front of a small gathering of family and friends.
Elle and Jeff have no children together, although Elle has two sons, Flynn (19) and Cy (14), from a previous nine-year relationship with French financier, Arpad Busson. She has been married once before, to French photographer Gilles Bensimon, between 1986 and 1989.
Elle (Eleanor) was born in New South Wales, Australia and began modeling at 17 when she travelled to New York on a mini adventure. She had signed up to study law at Sydney University, but following her appearance in a Coca Cola Company Tab ad in 1983, her fate as a model was sealed.
In her 35-year career, so far Elle has walked on catwalks for the likes of Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein, Christian Dior and Valentino, featured on the front covers of such titles as British and Australian Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Time, starred in such movies as Sirens, and appeared in US sitcom Friends in its heyday as Joey's flatmate and later, girlfriend.
Elle is a successful businesswoman – her lingerie line 'Elle Macpherson Intimates' was the best-selling in Britain in 2008 – and most recently, she as acted as TV show host, presenting Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model.
Naturally, we hope rumours of her and Jeff's split are not true, but if they are, we wish them both all the best for the future.
