Despite suffering severe morning sickness (as she did with her previous two pregnancies), the Duchess of Cambridge was at Buckingham Palace to support World Mental Health Day last night, wearing a lovely blue lace dress by Temperley London.
Having been out of the spotlight since early September (even reportedly missing Prince George's first day of school) due to hyperemesis gravidarum, this was her first public appearance, and all eyes (at least, all social media eyes) were on her bump.
While comments on Instagram were mostly positive, some naively described her as 'emaciated' or even 'malnourished anorexic' because of her discreet bump. Hello! reported that Kate's 'condition is improving' and that she was 'delighted' to be able to attend the reception, especially because mental health is a cause close to her heart (she, along with Princes William and Harry, founded the charity campaign Heads Together, with a goal of ending the stigma around mental health issues).
Her dress (intepreted by some as a clue that the couple are having another boy) can be found for £795 on Net-A-Porter - as well as, obviously, the brands own site. Kate has turned to British brand Temperley frequently over the years, alongside other favourites like Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham.
