David and Victoria Beckham are now worth $1billion

The world's youngest 'self-made' billionaire Kylie Jenner can move over, as David andVictoria Beckhamhave – far more deservedly – finally joined the billionaire club. After years of the A-listers' business ventures, Brand Beckham is now officially worth an eye-watering one billion dollars – meaning Posh and Becks aren’t just everyone's couple goals, but everyone's life goals. (And the good news comes just before they celebrate their 20th anniversary in July. Yay!)

According to the Mirror, the billion - which converts to around £700,000 - includes around £100m from Victoria’s namesake fashion empire, but the figure also includes heaps of money from David’s football career and numerous lucrative endorsement deals with the likes of Adidas, Pepsi, Samsung and H&M. (Oh, and before we forget, he also has his own brand of whiskey.) And while Victoria might not be participating in the upcoming Spice Girls reunion tour, she still has a cool £10m in the bank from Moody Productions, which was accumulated from her time in the band. Plus, Posh is expected to make even more cash from the comeback (and she still continues to make money from the group’s backcatalogue.) Finally adding to the grand total are the couple’s many properties, including their £35.1m West London home and a £6m Cotswolds retreat.

Seriously... WOW.

It might have taken a long time to reach the landmark, but one person who predicted the rise (and rise) of Brand Beckham is Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller. When the pair signed with him all the way back in 1995, he said: “Victoria’s glamour and David’s sex appeal and sporting prowess could over the long-term create a $1billion brand.” Now, with the Beckhams’ four kids, it looks like the family name will become even more valuable; Brooklyn is already making his name as a photographer – despite his book of photography What I See being critically panned – and Romeo, at the age of 16, has already been the face of Burberry’s Christmas campaign. Somehow we think the money is going to continue rolling in for one of Britain’s most famous families.
