Cher Horowitz fans, rejoice – four of the original cast members of Clueless shared a mini-reunion this weekend. After a whopping 24 years since the hit 90s film’s release, Alicia Silverstone – who played our impeccably dressed protagonist, inspired by Jane Austen’s Emma – joined her co-stars at the 2019 Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo. Breckin Meyer, who played Travis Birkenstock, uploaded a photo of the selfie he took with Alicia, Paul Rudd (Josh Lucas) and Donald Faison (Murray Duvall). He captioned it: “We. Have. No. Clue."
One noticeably absent special guest was Stacey Dash – who played Cher’s best friend Dionne Davenport. But that didn’t stop crowds of fans dressing up in Cher and Dionne’s favourite plaid two-pieces. According to BuzzFeed, speaking at the Expo, Alicia revealed: "I loved playing Cher. It was such a fun character and working with these guys – every one of them was so much fun... I didn't know who that girl was, so it was really fun to be her. Because it wasn't how I lived my life." Donald hinted a potential sequel, adding: "I like to believe that this is how it would be nowadays. I think you guys would still be together if we were to ever do a sequel."

Tragically, one of the films breakout stars Brittany Murphy – who played newcomer Tai Frasier – died in 2009, aged just 32. Speaking about her former co-star to abc news, Alicia once said of Brittany: “She’s the main person I remember from the auditions, because her audition was so amazing. I don’t think I had a voice in that room but I thought, ‘We’re going for her – right?’” She added: “She was so good, she just was.”
