Reports have claimed that there will not be a second season of the Sex And The City reboot, And Just Like That{ =nofollow}, following sexual assault allegations against Mr Big actor Chris Noth. ‘There was talk about doing another season, but after the past few days, all those conversations have stopped. Everyone is raw,’ a source told Us Weekly.

However, speaking to Emmy magazine last month before the allegations surfaced, show runner Michael Patrick King hinted that there could be a second series, saying 'it's possible to keep going—if we have enough good stories'.

The allegations against Noth first emerged in an article by The Hollywood Reporter earlier this month, where two women said they had been assaulted, with the incidents happening a decade apart. Noth denies the allegations, and told the publication the 'accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false'.

Another woman then came forward to The Daily Beast with a separate allegation. Noth's publicist told the publication that he 'denies this as ever happening and has no idea who this woman is.' Following the initial reports, the 67-year-old actor was also accused of being ‘sexually inappropriate’ on the set of Law and Order by actress Zoe Lister-Jones in an Instagram post.

Since the reports,Peloton{ =nofollow}have dropped the advert he starred in as Mr Big, following the plot twist at the end of the first episode of And Just Like That.

He will also not continue in his role on CBS crime drama series The Equalizer. 'Noth will no longer film additional episodes of The Equalizer, effective immediately,' Universal Television and CBS said in a joint statement on Monday.

Last week, Noth's AJLT co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis said they were 'deeply saddened' by the allegations - and supported the women 'who have come forward and shared their painful experiences.' Writing in a shared tweet, they added: 'We know it must be a very difficult thing for them to do and we commend them for it.'
