Caroline Flack Edited Out Of Love Island Trailer

The show's former presenter is being replaced by Laura Whitmore for the winter series.

Caroline Flack has been edited out of the new Love Island trailer after stepping down as host.

The former X Factor presenter has been replaced by Laura Whitmoreafter being charged with assaulting boyfriend Lewis Burton in December last year.

The trailer was filmed prior to the assault and originally saw Caroline walking through a group of partying singles.

She then said to viewers, 'Sorry Winter, you're just not our type.'

Since making her decision to depart the show for the winter series, the star hasfled to LA for some much-needed R&R.

It has since been reported that she made the decision to take the break in the US following advice from comedian Russell Brand.

A source told The Sun, 'Caroline went to LA on Russell's advice, and – although he might seem a strange person to lean on - he has been a rock to her.

'He has been in some sticky situations himself and was one of the first people she turned to.’

Caroline has also reportedly checked her dog Ruby into an £80-per-night hotel especially for pups while she's away.

She has been charged with assaulting Burton following a row at her flat in Islington, North London on December 12, 2019.

Caroline was accused of hitting her partner with a lamp after discovering texts on his phone that led her to believe he was cheating on her.

She pleaded not guilty during a court appearanceon December 23, 2019.

Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court heard that he rang 999 and claimed she 'tried to kill' him.
