Whether you’re a bonafide Married at First Sight stan or you've never seen an episode, chances are you’ve still heard the name Carina Mirabile this year. It’s not just her striking, Kardashian-esque features which gained her significant attention during Season 12 of MAFS Australia. Her dramatic storyline gave Titanic a run for its money (ok, not quite) but it was certainly a TV Moment when she matched with Paul Antoine, a French wellness advisor, only to discover they had dated before—and he had ghosted her.

Who is Carina Mirabile?
Carina Mirabile, 31, is a digital marketing manager who appeared as one of the brides on Season 12 of MAFS Australia this year. She comes from Perth and hails from a large Italian family - she’s one of five siblings. Her parents, Carmel and Tony Mirabile, run Beyond Tools, which is, reportedly, Australia's largest independent family-owned tool store. As well as being TV gold her career spans digital marketing and entrepreneurship. She’s also got a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from Edith Cowan University and a diploma in fashion design. On the show, her eye-catching fashion choices turned heads and in interviews since she's revealed she dropped around $15,000 on clothes and $1500 on hair and makeup while filming, sourcing outfits from sites like Farfetch and paying out of her own pocket. Production had to approve everything she wore, though.
She has lived and studied in the US and the UK and runs her own fashion label, MIRAB, specialising in athleisure wear. On her label’s website, it explains: ‘From a young age Carina always dreamt of having a presence in the fashion world. Her aunt was a dressmaker, her mother was a shopping connoisseur, and young Carina used to be her older sisters very own barbie doll - they would make clothes for her, dress her, do her makeup + hair, and take photos of her to stick in the family photo album. Fast forward twenty something years, her lifelong goals from a young age has now simply become a reality.’ She’s a woman of many talents, that’s for sure.
Are Carina Mirabile and Paul Antoine still together?
Despite Carina’s initial doubts about dating Paul Antoine again after he ghosted her, they decided to give it another shot, and at one point were a strong couple on the show. But their relationship faced a number of challenges, including when Paul punched a wall upon learning that Carina had previously slept with the rapper, Quavo. It didn’t get much better after that.. Fast forward to the Final Vows, and Carina Mirabile left her on-screen husband in tears as she dumped him at the alter. They reunited on the MAFS Reunion Commitment Ceremony, but things seemed frosty, with Carina describing their relationship as going from husband and wife to complete strangers. Paul told producers ‘There's no hope whatsoever with me and Carina - she is a big snob.' Yet more recently, Paul told 9Entertainment that he recognised some of the mistakes he’d made and, on their possible rekindling, said ‘there's hope, never say never’.
What is Carina Mirabile doing now?
Since appearing on the show, Carina Mirabile has reportedly left Perth and relocated to Sydney’s eastern suburbs to continue her media work and focus on her clothing brand, Mirab. She was recently spotted hanging out and taking selfies with her influencer friend Holly Young in Bondi.
‘I want to focus on my business now and do a new collection for winter,' she told Yahoo Lifestyle. ‘And yeah, just be optimistic about whatever comes my way with anything. I would love to do another show, but not a dating one because I’m pretty scarred from a dating reality show.
‘I just want to spend time with my loved ones and my family, and just really work on my business. I think I have to keep myself really busy, because this has been such a high and so many different emotions and "Go, go, go" throughout watching the episodes that I'm like, "Gotta keep going!"'
She also revealed she has no plans to rush straight into another relationship anytime soon.
‘I’m not dating. I'm a little bit scarred and I don't want to pressure anything,’ she says. ‘I don't want to go on the apps, I just want to meet someone when it's the right time for me and let it come into my life. Manifest it, but in a way where it's natural and I'm not going to be aggressive in the dating world.’
Is Carina Mirabile returning to Married at First Sight?
The rumour mill is in full swing speculating about the possibility that Carina will return to the show in 2026, with some reports claiming producers are eyeing her up for a comeback because she’s ‘TV gold’. She recently told the publication New Idea that ‘just because my TV marriage with Paul didn't work out doesn't mean I don't think the experiment works. I would absolutely go through it all again if it meant that I meet my match.' Watch this space!

Carina Mirabile and Jacob Elordirecently had a red carpet moment that the rest of us could only dream of, which led to Carina inviting the Hollywood heartthrob to slide into her DMs. It came after he commented on her outfit when they passed each other at the Sydney premiere of Amazon Prime's The Narrow Road to the Deep North. He told her she was wearing a ‘great dress’, leaving Carina beaming with joy. 'He's tall, got dark features, and he's handsome—that's exactly what I asked the [MAFS] experts for,’ she told Chattr. It’s true she’s newly single, but sadly that was the extent of it, so it's not highly likely we’ll see a Carina and Jacob coupling any time soon. Sob.
