The fashion forecast for next season: rebels are running the show.

For Marc Jacobs' Beetlejuice-style AW16 ad campaign, captured by David Sims, the designer has enlisted the help of trailblazers from Cara Delevingne to Courtney Love to play dress up. Alongside musicians from St.Vincent, Marilyn Manson to Missy Elliot and Vinyl actress, Juno Temple - just check out those specs!

20-year old model Kendall Jenner is virtually unrecognisable - looking more Edward Scissorhands than laid back LA girl. #GothGoals.

His latest recruit: Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon. The 69-year-old appears to shut down critic Piers Morgan in the best way ever...flaunting her (quite frankly, amazing) cleavage in the seductive new campaign...

‘In a continuing series of portraits for our Fall 2016 ad campaign, the individuals in these photographs represent a collective embodiment of love, honesty, integrity, courage, strength, curiosity and inspiration,’ Jacobs wrote on Instagram. ‘Together, as one story, this collection is a reminder to question and challenge normal and to continue exploring and pushing boundaries.’

Speaking about his first meeting with Cara, Jacobs says: ‘When I met Cara through Katie Grand a few years ago, she was the girl in the animal onesie with boundless energy, great humor and in perpetual motion.’

The alt-‘90s icon, Courtney Love, also serves as Marc Jacobs' muse: ‘Gone but no where near forgotten is the girl-woman Goddess of Grunge in her too small tattered dresses, the little girl barrette in her messy, scattered hair and beaten up brocade 1960’s evening shoes.’

Sure, our brains might be wired right now to snap up the latest summer sale (FYI: yellow’s back in style, according to Beyonce and Blake Lively), but come winter the fash pack will be embracing the dark side.

Make way for cyber punk ensembles, black platform boots and a lot more eye-liner.
