With an Instagram following of 17.1million, it could be said that Gigi Hadid's modelling career is going rather well. But what if she hadn't decided to be a model – what would she have done instead?
Been a doctor? A writer? A... criminal psychologist, perhaps?
Yes. Yes that's exactly it.
Now, we already knew from her interview with us last year that she was interested in the subject, but as her parents revealed on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills: Secrets Revealed special, criminal psychology was what Gigi had originally intended to do as a career too.
'That's the road she was heading down and then she got sidetracked by this little thing called supermodeling,' her stepfather David Foster told visiting guests Erika Girardi and her lawyer husband, Tom.
'She's that fascinated with criminal law and psychology that I could see her in a couple of years going back to school and getting a degree,' Gigi's mother Yolanda Hadid agreed.
Gigi, however, was quick to rebuke this idea, saying: 'I don't know if I would ever want to practice. For me I realised the reason I wanted to be in university was because I loved being in class and I loved being part of a conversation and learning about it. Not necessarily that I want to be a criminal psychologist, I just liked it.'
She went on to say, 'I think there's other ways besides me going to college to keep my brain going.'
Like doing crosswords... and being in them too!
However, when Tom Girardi – the lawyer who won the case that inspired Academy Award winning film Erin Brockovich – said that after Gigi's upcoming trip to Australia, 'we'll go down to the courthouse together,' Gigi replied: 'Yes please, I'd love that!'
So who knows, they may make a criminal psychologist of her yet!
