Camila Cabello And Shawn Mendes Just Responded To Criticism That They ‘Kiss Like Fish’, With A Video Of Them Kissing

Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes are THAT young Hollywood couple right now. After years of being friends and months of romance speculation, they are taking their newly public relationship to a whole new level of PDA.

Evidently, their making up for a lot of lost time hiding their relationship, because they’re now kissing absolutely everywhere. In the park, in the ocean… and now on Instagram. That’s right, the two shared a video of them kissing to Shawn’s Instagram this morning – but it’s not quite straightforward affection.

After the images of them kissing were compared to fish, with many an online tween trolling their make-out sessions, they decided to hit back at criticism with an example of how they ‘really’ kiss.

Of course, it was one big giant joke, and the pair go on to show us the worst kiss we could ever witness. Mouths wide open, tongues everywhere, the kiss only lasts a couple of seconds before Camila bursts out laughing.

Joke or not, it hasn’t stopped fans absolutely living for the moment. Racking up over 5 million views in three hours, the video has over 155,000 comments. It’s unsurprising really, given how fans have been dying for this relationship to be confirmed for a long, long time.

But one thing is for sure, with this video Camila and Shawn are cementing the beginning of a new kissing trend. Because, judging by the many paparazzi pictures of Timothée Chalamet and Lily Rose-Depp last week, they’re not the only ones with a clear love for an intense PDA.

Now we just have to wait for one other celebrity couple to jump on the bandwagon and we will have a whole new PDA trend – or maybe we hope they don’t? That’s a lot of someone else’s mouth to see first thing in the morning.
