We honestly can't keep up with happy new engaged couple Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz. Last week, there was speculation Nicola was pregnant after she captioned a photo of the pair with 'baby b' - and now Brooklyn seems to have hinted that they've already tied the knot, even though it was reported last week that they were looking to book St Paul's Cathedral for a massive wedding in 2022.
On a cute photo of the pair Nicola uploaded to Instagram - see below - Brooklyn simply commented: 'my wife'. So we might have already missed out on a huge celeb wedding this year. Sob.
This follows previous reports from The Sun that the couple would be looking to wed in 2022, as there is a waiting list for the venue. It's also believed that the couple will also have a Jewish blessing in America to please Nicola's family. 'David and Victoria are aware Brooklyn can get married at St Paul’s,' a source told the paper. 'They are overseeing their British wedding and want to make sure it has the wow factor for Nicola’s family. If they went ahead, the wedding would have real gravitas and set the benchmark for what comes later in America.'
Of course, the venue's most famous wedding was when Diana and Charles got married in 1981. Applications to marry there must be made through the Archbishop of Canterbury, who grants a special licence. And Brooklyn and Nicola are one of the few couples who can actually get married in the famous cathedral, as both of Brooklyn's parents have OBEs.
Last week, Nicola set off speculation that she was pregnant, after uploading a sweet picture of her and Brooklyn to Instagram, with the cryptic caption 'baby b'. One fan wrote: 'excuse me, "baby"', while another added: 'The baby is gonna grow up to be a whole model.' Obviously, it could just be a cute nickname - but followers were excited regardless.
