We can't lie: one of the main things we were looking forward at tonight's BAFTAs was catching sight of Brad Pitt.
However, when he won best supporting actor for his role as stuntman Cliff Booth in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Brad wasn't there to accept his award – and co-star Margot Robbie read his acceptance speech. He joked about Brexit, saying: 'Hey Britain, heard you just became single, welcome to the club. Hope you get the best of the divorce settlement.'
And at the end of the speech, Margot said that Brad planned to call the award Harry (after Prince Harry, obvs): 'He said he’s naming this Harry because he’s really excited about bringing it back to the States for him.' As the camera panned to Kate and Wills, Margot insisted that they were Brad's words and not hers.
Brad was a last minute noshow at the ceremony, with the actor saying he had a family obligation. Before the ceremony, The Sun's Dan Wootton tweeted, 'Good evening from the Bafta red carpet where sadly I’ve just heard Brad Pitt has pulled out of attending tonight. Assured he’s all good but has a “family obligation”. He’s the hot favourite to win for supporting actor.' Also absent from the ceremony was his Once Upon A Time In Hollywood co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.
However, while we haven't seen Brad and Leo - some of the brightest stars in the film industry have still turned up to the Royal Albert Hall. Look below for all of the best BAFTA red carpet looks.
