Blue Ivy, daughter of two musical icons Beyonce and Jay-Z, has clearly inherited her parent’s talent if a new video is to be believed.
Footage of Blue Ivy and other children dancing to Beyonce’s cover of Frankie Beverly and Maze’s song ‘Before I Let Go’ was released to TMZ, and has since been doing the rounds online.
Blue Ivy didn’t show any signs of stage fright as she danced at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy’s annual Spring concert.
Of course, the internet immediately exploded in reaction to this adorable moment.
Those who have watched Beyonce’s Homecoming documentaryon Netflix will be no stranger to Blue Ivy’s dance moves. The documentary shows Blue following along with her mother’s complex choreography as she prepares for her Coachella performance.
Released on April 17, the trailer for Homecoming set the internet alight by providing an insight into her family, twins Rumi and Sir - who have been kept very private up until now - making an appearance.
And not only that, in the background of the teaser plays an interview with late poet and civil rights activist Maya Angelou. In it, Angelou can be heard saying, ‘I have a chance to show how kind we can be, how intelligent and generous we can be. I have a chance to teach, and to love, and to laugh. I know that when I finish doing what I’m sent here to do, I will be called home. And I will go home without any fear, trepidations, wondering what’s gonna happen.'
