Billie Eilish has spoken out about the Supreme Court's Roe vs Wade decision during her historic Glastonbury headlining set.

Introing her song Your Power, she said: 'This song is about the concept of power and how we always need to remember not to abuse it. And today is the really really dark day for women in the US and I’m just going to say that because I can’t bear to think about it any longer in this moment.'

The youngest Glastonbury headliner ever, at 20, Billie played the Pyramid Stage on Friday night.

She’s not the first person to hit out at the Supreme Court's Roe v Wade verdict at Glastonbury. Earlier in the day, Phoebe Bridgersled chants of ‘F**k the Supreme Court’ during her set on Friday June 24.

The US Supreme Court today overturned abortion rights in the US that were cemented by Roe v Wadein 1973. Estimates say 36 million women may now be without access to abortion rights. The decision led to worldwide outrage, with a series of celebrities like Taylor Swift, Hailey Bieber and Tracee Ellis Ross speaking out.

Phoebe shared that she’d had an abortion last year. She wrote on Instagram: ‘I had an abortion in October of last year while I was on tour. I went to planned parenthood where they gave me the abortion pill. It was easy. Everyone deserves that kind of access.’

The American singer stopped her performance to say, ‘It’s super surreal, but I’ve having the shittiest day.

‘Are there any Americans here?’ Before saying, ‘Who wants to say “F*ck the Supreme Court?" One, two… F*CK THE Supreme Court.’

Bridgers added: ‘All these irrelevant old motherf*ckers trying to tell us what to do with our f*cking bodies. F*ck it.’
