Victoria and David Beckham have arrived at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (or the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as they'll henceforth be known) where they've joined a star-studded array of guests including the Clooneys, Oprah Winfrey and Idris Elba.
We can safely assume that fashion designer Victoria's navy blue gown was from her eponymous label; she paired the sophisticated style with with a matching navy hat. Her husband, meanwhile, wore a slate grey morning coat with a waistcoat in a slightly lighter shade, in accordance with the strict royal dress code.
Victoria's outfit can't help but recall her ensemble for the previous royal wedding. She and David attended the wedding of Prince Harry's older brother, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, in 2011, when the designer wore a silk dress in navy blue, along with a Philip Treacy fascinator dubbed by some commentators as a 'UFO.'
David hit the headlines after experiencing a minor slip-up with his OBE medal: the former footballer wore the honour pinned to his right lapel, when formality dictates that it should be placed to the left, a mistake which a number of royal commentators quickly picked up on during the live wedding broadcast. Luckily, either someone intervened or David realised his mistake, as by the time the ceremony had begun, the medal had been swapped to the correct side.
