Barack Obama is undoubtedly one of the world’s coolest dads. From dancing to Drake’s Hotline Bling with Usher to perfecting the mic drop at his final Correspondents' Dinner.
But his daughters might not agree.
In a recent interview with WCDG radio station, the President revealed that Malia, 18, and Sasha, 15, have started ‘ditching’ family dinners to go on dates. But he’s not worried.
"The truth is, I'm pretty relaxed about it for two reasons," Obama explained. "One is [my wife] Michelle - she's such a great example of how she carries herself, her self-esteem, not depending on boys to validate how you look or not letting yourself be judged by anything other than your character and intelligence. Hopefully I've been a good example in terms of how I show respect to my wife."
But the second reason? Obama laughed, “They have Secret Service.”
He continued: “There's only so much these guys can do! These poor young men come by the house..."
One radio DJ asked, "They have no idea?"
To which the President simply replied, "Oh, they have an idea. I describe for them."
