Ever since the election results confirmed that Donald Trump is set to become the 45th President of the United States come January, we’ve been grieving the thought of Barack Obama moving out of the White House.

From his dad dancing with Usher to the #couplegoals he and wife Michelle deliver us on a daily basis, it’s safe to say there will never be another Barack Obama. But fear not, as Netflix has our back.

A new biopic airing today, will document the life of Obama ahead of his presidency. Detailing the president’s time at Columbia University during the eighties, the film reflects on the challenges Barack faced as a mixed race 20-year-old in a predominantly white environment.

Up-and-coming Australian actor Devon Terrel transcends into a young Obama for the film which is directed by documentarian Vikram Gandhi.

The biographical film will land on Netflix on December 16.
