Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it's needless to say this year's awards season has been severely disrupted. But thanks to some reorganisation, ceremonies haven't been totally cancelled - as today the nominations for BAFTA TV awards were revealed. And Chernobyl - the Sky Atlantic miniseries based on the 1986 Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant disaster - tops the list with a whopping 14 nominations.

Chernobyl isn't the only series to receive multiple nods. Netflix's The Crown has seven nominations, followed by Fleabag and Giri/Haji - which have garnered six each. Jodie Comer (Killing Eve), Glenda Jackson (Elizabeth is Missing), Suranne Jones (Gentleman Jack) and Samantha Morton (I Am Kirsty) have been nominated for best actress, meanwhile Stephen Graham (The Virtues), Jared Harris (Chernobyl), Takehiro Hira (Giri/Haji) and Callum Turner (The Capture) are up for best actor.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Stath Lets Flats' Jamie Demetriou have done very well for themselves, earning three nominations each. And Graham Norton and Famalam star Gbemisola Ikumelo also have two nods each.

Obviously, the ceremony won’t be going ahead entirely as normal. To adapt to social distancing, Richard Ayoade will host from a studio and winners will give their acceptance speeches virtually on July 31. (So sadly no #looks on the red carpet{ =nofollow}, then.)

The full list of nominees are below - and with all this time on our hands in lockdown, if there's something that you missed, there's no better time to catch up.
