Ashley Graham has always been candid about her pregnancy, during and after. After welcoming her first child at the end of last month, last week, the model shared a mirror selfie with the caption, ‘raise your hand if you didn’t know you’d be changing your own diapers too.' ‘I never could’ve guessed that disposable underwear would be my favorite piece of clothing but here we are,’ she added. ‘No one talks about the recovery and healing (yes even the messy parts) new moms go through.’ She has also shared two photos of her breastfeeding her son, Isaac.

Now, Ashley has shared another honest snapshot - a photo of her stretch marks. Posting the photo on Instagram of her stomach yesterday, she wrote, ‘same me. few new stories.’

Stretch marks are an incredibly common part of pregnancy, with indented streaks forming on many parts of the body due to changes in the skin and elasticity. Understandably, the photo was met with love on social media, with fellow model Iskra Lawrence writing, ‘Beautiful, love seeing this! I’ve got none on my tummy yet but getting some new tiger stripes on my hips and booty.’ Meanwhile, another added, ‘The best love story ever! Growing your firstborn miracle.’

Ashley announced the pregnancy in October, with a cute video on Insta, and similarly announced the birth on the social media site, writing: ‘At 6:00PM on 01/18/2020, we welcomed 7lbs 5oz of love into our world. Meeting our son has made our hearts incredibly full.’

At the beginning of the year, the mum spoke toGrazia{ =nofollow}, where she discussed her mixed feelings towards her body changing. She said, ‘I feel like we all have complicated relationships with our body. Mine has been changing in some new and interesting ways. It hasn’t been easy to embrace my pregnant body, but it’s definitely a reminder of how awesome our bodies truly are.’
