Anna Vakili has revealed that she was arrested, along with her sister, after a drunken fight outside the Dorchester hotel in London last year. The 2019 Love Island{ =nofollow}star, 31, claimed that she called the police over fears she was being kidnapped - only to be arrested for fighting with Mandi, 29.

'My sister and I sometimes have a bit too much to drink in central London, and we end up getting into arguments with each other,' Anna told The Sun. 'Not long ago we ended up spending the night in jail. We got arrested for fighting each other – it wasn’t even a physical fight.'

The pair claim they spent 14 hours at a police station before being questioned, and Anna alleges that police were Googling who they were when she was handcuffed at the back of the police van. 'The next morning during my video interview, I told them I would sue them, and that she was my sister,' she added. 'I was saying, "have you never had a fight with your sister? I love my sister more than anything in this world."'

A spokesman for Met police told the paper: 'Police were called at approximately 00:06hrs on Sunday, 11 April to reports of a disturbance in Park Lane, W1. Officers attended and spoke to a witness who reported seeing two women involved in an altercation. No injuries were reported. Two women, aged 29 and 30, were arrested on suspicion of common assault and taken into custody. Following enquiries it was established that no further action was necessary and both were released from custody.'

Since leaving Love Island in 2019, Anna has continued to be an Instagram influencer and amassed over a million followers. But in 2020, Anna returned to her previous job as a pharmacist to help out during the pandemic. The former islander and her sister have also just launched their first podcast, Sisters In The City - and during the first episode they talk about the incident.
