A scene involving Chris Noth has been cut from the And Just Like That finale, following allegations of sexual assault against the actor. The report, fromTV Line, says that Big - Noth's character - was meant to appear in a flashback sequence with Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), but that it's since been scrapped by HBO.

The network are yet to comment on the reports - but, spoilers ahead - the publication claims that Carrie goes to Paris' Pont des Arts bridge (the bridge in the original SATC finale) to scatter Big’s ashes into the Seine river in the last episode. Big, who died in the first episode of AJLT, was then supposed to appear in a flashback.

The allegations against Noth first emerged in an article byThe Hollywood Reporter{ =nofollow}last month, where two women said they had been assaulted, with the incidents happening a decade apart. Noth denies the allegations, and told the publication the 'accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false'.

Another woman then came forward to The Daily Beast{ =nofollow}with a separate allegation. Noth's publicist told the publication that he 'denies this as ever happening and has no idea who this woman is.' Following the initial reports, the 67-year-old actor was also accused of being ‘sexually inappropriate’ on the set of Law and Order by actress Zoe Lister-Jones in an Instagram post.

There have also been reports that the allegations could halt a second series of the AJLT reboot. ‘There was talk about doing another season, but after the past few days, all those conversations have stopped. Everyone is raw,’ a source told Us Weeklylast month.

Since the allegations, Noth has also been dropped from CBS drama The Equaliser, and the Peloton advert starring Big (after the plot twist in the first episode) has been dropped. Noth's AJLT co-stars - Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis - said in a statement last month that they were 'deeply saddened' by the allegations - and supported the women 'who have come forward and shared their painful experiences.' Writing in a shared tweet, they added: 'We know it must be a very difficult thing for them to do and we commend them for it.'
