Chris Noth, the actor who plays Mr Big in Sex And The City, has been accused of sexual assault by two women. The Hollywood Reporter have published an article, which claims two women contacted the publication - months apart, and separately - accusing Noth of sexual assault.

Both women Zoe, now 40, and Lily, now 31, have gone by pseudonyms to protect their anonymity and say they have come forward as the promo trial for And Just Like That - the SATC reboot - has stirred up painful memories.

Zoe says her assault happened in Los Angeles in 2004, while Lily accuses Noth of assaulting her in New York in 2015.

Noth denies the allegations, and responded to them in a statement: 'The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual. It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.'

As well as being Big on SATC, Noth is known for his TV roles as NYPD Detective Mike Logan on Law & Order and Peter Florrick on The Good Wife. Noth recently took part in an advert for Peloton, responding to the Big plot twist at the end of the first episode of AJLT.
