An Investigation: Is Priyanka Chopra Dating Nick Jonas?

Do Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have a new celebrity couple to double date with? The internet would surely have you think so. That’s right, the relationship rumour mill is turning this time in favour of style icon andall-around Queen of everything that is fabulous Priyanka Chopra and former Disney superstar Nick Jonas.

That’s right, Nick Jonas. That kid from The Jonas Brothers who famously wore a purity ring then miraculously transformed into an all-out hunk at 21. Now aged 25, he’s cemented his eligibility as boyfriend-material by dating the one and only Priyanka. Or so we believe, there’s a lot to consider when landing on either side of this debate. So now, we shall take a stroll down Priyanka and Nick’s relationship timeline to figure out exactly whether they are dating or not…

The rumours started at last year’s Met Gala, when the two arrived and posed together on the famous steps. They certainly looked like the perfect couple, but Priyanka later shunned dating rumours, claiming they only went together because they were dressed by the same designer.

Appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel show, Jimmy asked Priyanka, ‘Are you dating Nick Jonas? Isn’t he like 11 years old?’

Glazing over the subtle ageism, Chopra responded, ‘we were both wearing Ralph Lauren and we decided to go together. I didn’t ask his age. 11? I didn’t know that. Yeah, we were on the same table and we already know each other. So, he was like “Hey, you wanna go together?” And I was like “Yeah, okay, let’s go together.” It ended up working out.’

A simple story, even if she is blushing through telling it, but the reaction that their friendship got back then would likely turn anyone off from going public with a more serious relationship. No one wants to deal with archaic questions about age differences when you’re starting a new romance.

Until last month it seems, as the duo began being more public about spending time together, spotted on several dates around LA. According to JustJared, the couple attended Beauty and the Beast Live in Concert together on Friday. Then, the next day they attended a Dodgers game together before spending the weekend with Jonas’ friends on a boat.

Snuggling under a blanket on a boat? If that doesn’t scream marriage to us I’m not sure what does. Seriously though, this image was just the start of them being more public about their relationship. Just last week, Nick uploaded a video to Instagram of him and a koala bear at Taronga Zoo in Sydney, on which Priyanka commented 'Who is cuter? Lol'.

And she's not the only one dishing out the social media love, he commented on a selfie of her with 'that smile' followed by a heart emoji. THE LOVE IS QUITE CLEARLY REAL.

After being spotted at a wedding together in Atlantic City yesterday - for Nick's cousin - it's safe to say this case is closed. If they're not dating, then they're the most affectionate, complimentary, romantic best friends in the world...

So now we're just waiting for what could only be the best triple date of all time: Priyanka and Nick, Meghan and Harry and Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas…
